CAIRO – The dollar exchange rate was stable at the start of Sunday’s transactions at Egypt’s major banks.
At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) the dollar rate registered EGP 47.80 for buying and EGP 47.90 for selling.
At Banque Misr, the dollar rate registered EGP 47.79 for buying and EGP 47.89 for selling.
At the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar exchange rate recorded EGP 47.75 for buying and 47.85 for selling.
According to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the average dollar rate registered EGP 47.76 for buying and EGP 47.90 for selling.
The euro price registered EGP 51.97 for buying and EGP 52.20 for selling at the NBE.
At Banque the euro price registered EGP 52.96 for buying and EGP 52.19 for selling at the NBE.
At the CIB, the euro price recorded EGP 51.92 for buying and EGP 52.16 for selling.
According to the CBE, the average euro rate at the Egyptian market registered EGP 52.24 for buying and EGP 52.40 for selling.
The pound sterling at the NBE registered EGP 60.83 for buying and EGP 61.11 for selling.
At Banque Misr the pound sterling registered EGP 60.81 for buying and EGP 61.99 for selling.
At the CIB, the pound sterling exchange rate amounted to EGP 63.11 for buying and EGP 63.69 for selling.
According to the CBE, the average pound sterling rate at the Egyptian market registered EGP 61.18 for buying and EGP 61.36 for selling.
The Saudi riyal price stood at EGP 12.73 for buying and EGP 12.77 for selling at the NBE.
