Saqqara antiquities area has received the director of UNESCO Regional Bureau,Nuria Sanz.
Mostafa Waziri, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA), accompanied her on an introductory tour in the area.
During the tour, Waziri reviewed the current excavation works of the Egyptian archeological mession to unveil more of the area’s secrets. He also mentioned the latest archeological discoveries and restoration works of a number of tombs in the region.
Sanz expressed her admiration of the council’s accomplishments in the archeological region and the noticable progress in it.
It’s worth noting that Waziri received Nuria Sanz in his office to discuss the latest projects that are implemented in co-operation with the Supreme Council and the UNESCO Regional Bureau.
