Twenty school laboratories in Beheira Governorate are now equipped with the latest technologies and Internet connections, an official body announced on Wednesday.
The Decent Life Foundation added that this comes within a co-operation protocol concluded between Decent Life and Vodafone Egypt to support the digital transformation in education.
Over the last two weeks, Vodafone Foundation Ta’alimi platform showed students, teachers and parents how to deal with the new technology.
The platform includes a learning management system for all grades in all subjects to enable all users to monitor student progress. Parents will also find advice by experts on the platform.
The aims of the ‘Education is Life’ initiative are to disseminate the culture of digital education by raising awareness among students, teachers and parents in rural areas and to equip 100 schools in five governorates with computers and tablets.
