CAIRO – The cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC) said digital transformation became a pivotal axis to develop technology as digital technology contributes to promoting performance efficiency and improving the quality of life.
An analysis issued by the IDSC Thursday on the importance of digital transformation and environmental impact resulting from it shed light on techniques necessary for limiting the environmental impact of digital transformation.
The IDSC asserted that digital transformation created new opportunities for economic and social development, in addition to its indirect role to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
The digital technology contributes directly to achieving 70% of the goals of sustainable development, it said.
