Egypt’s Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ghada Shalaby commended deep and profound cooperation relations binding Egypt and Japan in various fields and joint projects, with special focus on the domain of tourism and antiquities, including the Grand Egyptian Museum that is considered Egypt’s gift to the world.
Shalaby’s remarks came during a meeting with an official delegation from the Japanese parliament during its visit to Egypt on Monday.
The meeting aims to review vistas of cooperation in the domains of tourism and infrastructure development in Egypt.
The Japanese delegation’s visit is part of visits it is paying to get acquainted with tourism experiments in a number of countries including Egypt.
The Egyptian official tackled the National Strategy for Tourism Development in Egypt.
