Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Hussein Issa, met with a delegation from Ernst & Young (EY) Middle East and North Africa at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital to review the company’s expansion strategy in Egypt.
The meeting highlighted EY’s plan to deliver a comprehensive suite of services from Egypt, including business, financial, risk, and human resources consulting, alongside institutional transformation. The company also aims to expand advanced technology services such as cybersecurity, digital engineering, data analytics, artificial intelligence, business platform consulting, and digital transformation strategies.
The EY delegation included Omar Ouda, Head of Consulting for MENA, and Tamer Abou El Azm, Head of Consulting in Egypt.
Minister Issa emphasized Egypt’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with leading global firms and attracting more investment to support sustainable economic development. He noted ongoing efforts to enhance competitiveness, encourage private sector participation, and restructure state-owned enterprises and administrative units to improve efficiency, governance, and transparency.
Omar Ouda affirmed Egypt’s strategic importance for EY, citing its skilled workforce, advanced digital infrastructure, and geographic position linking regional and international markets.
