Egypt’s Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Defense and Military Production Minister Abdel Megid Saqr inspected on Tuesday the stages of training and physical and skills rehabilitation for cadets at the Egyptian Military Academy.
He was accompanied by Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa and commanders of the main branches, as well as a number of military top brass.
During his inspection tour, the minister asserted that the Armed Forces attach great importance to providing training for newly-admitted cadets to graduate officers capable of shouldering the responsibility of safeguarding the homeland and preserving its sanctities.
At the end of his tour, Saqr engaged in talks with the academy’s students and conveyed greetings of Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to them.
He urged the students to pay attention to their physical fitness and stick to the principles of the Egyptian military.
