Egyptian Minister of Defence and Military Production and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Gen Mohamed Zaki met with a number of the commanders and officers of the Armed Forces.
The meeting falls within the framework of the minister’s follow-up of the work system inside the Armed Forces.
Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Osama Askar, commanders of the main branches, several high-ranking officers attended the meeting.
The meeting included an open discussion of a number of issues related to efforts exerted by the Armed Forces to maintain Egypt’s national security.
The Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces also honoured a number of military commanders and personnel.
General Zaki also conveyed the greeting of Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the Armed Forces’ personnel, lauding their efforts in implementing the great responsibilities assigned to them.
Minister Zaki stressed the importance of maintaining high efficiency and combat readiness within units and formations.
This, he said, involves enhancing the skills and physical capabilities of individual combatants through training and upholding high morale, and safeguarding weapons, equipment, and vehicles to ensure that the Armed Forces consistently maintain the highest possible levels of alertness and readiness, and prepared to carry out their mission under any circumstances.
