Egypt’s Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense General Mohamed Zaki had talks with Middle East and North Africa Coordinator for the US National Security Council Brett McGuirk, along with his accompanying delegation during their current visit to Egypt.
The meeting discussed the ongoing crisis in the Gaza Strip and its implications for the security and stability of the Middle East region.
The discussions stressed the importance of collaborative efforts to mitigate tensions, protect civilian lives, and highlighted Egypt’s role in ensuring unfettered delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people.
