A symposium in Qena briefed participants on how to use the Digital Egypt portal.
The Decent Life Foundation in co-operation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology on Wednesday organised a symposium in a village of Qus in Qena.
The symposium, ‘Digital Enlightenment and Expanding Awareness about Digitisation and Financial Inclusion’, covered how to use the Digital Egypt portal with practical examples of access to digital government services via the website, cybersecurity and securing data and smart cards.
The aim of the symposium was to develop technological skills in rural areas.
Digital Egypt lays the foundations for the transformation of Egypt into a digital society.
CIT 2030 strategy will achieve some of the goals relevant to Egypt Vision 2030, through building Digital Egypt.
Developing CIT infrastructure and making the switch to a knowledge-based economy, fighting corruption and cybersecurity are among the ministry’s goals.
