The Decent Life Foundation signed on Sunday a protocol with New Egypt International Group to enhance cooperation and partnerships between the institutions representing Egyptians working and living in other countries, on one hand, and national institutions and projects, on the other.
This cooperation is expected to be looked after by the Ministry of State for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs.
This is the first protocol to be signed by the Decent Life Foundation and Egyptians abroad.
It will be implemented to promote – among other things – digital literacy in the Egyptian countryside, the empowerment of women, and the dissemination of digital culture among various community groups, especially in the neediest villages.
Head of the Board of Trustees of Decent Life Foundation, Aya Omar, highlighted the importance of the protocol for uniting all efforts to serve the Decent Life project.
For her part, Regional Director of New Egypt International Group, Ghada Ali, said cooperation between her group and Decent Life Foundation would enhancelinks between Egyptians abroad and Egyptians living inside Egypt.
The same cooperation, she added, would bring support to development efforts on the road to establishing the New Republic.
“It will also be instrumental in the transfer of experiences from Egyptians living in other countries to their fellow countrymen inside Egypt,” Ali said.
Ali expected the coming period to witness several joint activities with Decent Life Foundation within the framework of the co-operation protocol.
