CAIRO0 – Decent Life Foundation reiterated on Thursday full solidarity with residents of Aswan who were harmed by the bad weather wave.
The move comes as part of the foundation’s keenness on securing decent life to Egyptians across the country and supporting them in times of need.
Torrential rains and strong winds have hit several cities in Upper Egypt, with estimated 2,000 families affected in Aswan in addition to 106 rural houses collapsed and many crops were damaged.
In a statement, the foundation said teams were immediately sent to stand on residents’ needs and they began restoring damaged homes in co-operation with bodies concerned.
The foundation has earlier launched a fundraising campaign to support Aswan residents who were harmed by floods.
