CAIRO – The ‘Decent Life’ initiative, launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, has achieved many goals, including easing burdens for inhabitants in the county and slum areas, Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah Eddin said.

The minister told MENA on Thursday that the presidential initiative also contributed to achieving comprehensive development in the country to guarantee better social, economic and environmental levels for targeted families and invest in human development.

He shed light on the different health, social and living services offered under the initiative, noting that the Military Production Ministry contributed to carrying out over 220 projects worth EGP18 billion under the initiative in 2022.

He pointed out that the ministry worked on implementing development projects related to the domains of power networks and plants, drinking water stations, canal lining, youth training, climate change and supply of trees nationwide, among others.
