CAIRO – Egyptian Culture Minister Nevine el-Kilani discussed Wednesday with Saudi ambassador in Cairo Osama Nugali ways of intensifying cultural and innovative activities between the two sides in the coming period.
In a statement, Kilani said Egypt and Saudi Arabic share identical viewpoints at the level of governments and peoples.
Saudi Arabia is of special importance to Arab people in general and Egyptians in particular, she said.
Kilani stressed the necessity of capitalising on cultural co-operation and exchanging experiences on all fronts.
The Culture Ministry said, in a statement, that the Saudi diplomat underlined the depth and strength of joint relations binding the two countries, adding he is looking forward to intensifying vistas of cultural co-operation.
