CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem mourned on Friday the death of renowned film and theater director Galal el Sharkawy, who passed away earlier in the day after a battle with illness.
In press statements, the minister offered condolences to the deceased’s family, friends and lovers.
She added that Sharkawy had contributed to introducing generations of film and theater stars.
