Egyptian Culture Minister Inas Abdel Dayem stressed that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is deeply interested in cultural co-operation with African countries.
She noted that culture is a key factor in all agreements and memos between Egypt and African countries.
In statements to MENA on Monday, Abdel Dayem said a comprehensive cultural, artistic and creative programme was prepared since Egypt assumed the presidency of the African Union in 2019 and President Sisi declared the year of Egyptian-African culture.
She added that culture is one of the Egyptian diplomatic means through which it can reach all countries and people worldwide.
She referred to Egypt’s participation in the Belgrade International Book Fair as well as the participation of Cairo Opera House in Jordan’s centennial anniversary.
