Chief of Staff Ahmed Khalifa on Monday inspected the educational and training activities at the Non-Commissioned Officers Institute within the framework the Armed Forces General Command’s keenness to maintain regular follow up of personnel’s scientific and military qualification.

The tour began with a review of daily sports activities designed to maintain high levels of the physical fitness of cadets, followed by an inspection of some upgraded training ranges and physical training fields.

During his visit, the Chief of Staff met institute staff and students, and joined them for breakfast. Speaking to them, Gen. Khalifa emphasized the Armed Forces’ keenness on providing such advanced scientific and training opportunities that enable the combatant to enjoy high physical and mental capabilities.

The Chief of Staff also engaged in discussions with cadets on the topics they had studied.

Chief of Staff Khalifa was then briefed by Major General Walid Hamid Al-Hamaki, Director of the NCO Training Institute, who presented the institute’s ongoing efforts in modernizing and developing the training programms to enhance the students’ academic and cultural levels.

Gen. Khalifa’s tour also included an inspection of practical training at the line-up zone, the administrative conditions of the accommodation areas, and the hospital, which all contribute to preparing NCOs capable of implementing their duties under various circumstances.

The Chief of Staff urged the students to continue their learning journey to prepare a new generation of knowledgeable and skilled NCOs. He also expressed appreciation to the officers and trainers involved in the institute’s mission. Several senior military officials accompanied the Chief of Staff during the visit.
