Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Osama Askar, inspected on Tuesday the main laboratories of chemical warfare department as part of the General Command’s keenness to follow up on the work system in all specialised departments of the Armed Forces.
Major General Sami Mustafa Ali Moussa, director of the department, reviewed the work system in the main laboratories and their readiness and level of scientific and technical competence. This comes within the framework of the development and modernisation system that the Armed Forces is implementing in all its specialised weapons.
He also thanked the General Command of the Armed Forces for the continued support it provides to the administration, which enables it to carry out all the tasks assigned to it to the fullest extent.
Askar conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Minister of Defence and Military Production General Mohamed Zaki to the staff of the department for their efforts in performing their duties with dedication and sincerity.
He also discussed with a number of officers the method of implementing their tasks, praising their distinguished performance and ability to carry out all their tasks with competence and efficiency.
The inspection tour was attended by a number of commanders of the Armed Forces.
