COS inspects combat training system of one of formations of Second Field Army

Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lt. General Osama Askar inspected the combat training system of one of the formations of the Second Field Army, which was implemented according to the latest systems, methods, and unconventional training means.

Brigadier General Mohamed Rabei, commander of the Second Field Army, stated in a speech that the fighters of the Second Field Army renew their pledge to defend the security and stability of the nation, and to continue efficiently carrying out the tasks assigned to them under various circumstances.

Askar listened to a presentation outlining the measures taken to develop the combat training system, contributing to enhancing the training level of the forces in various specialties and improving the administrative and living conditions of the fighters.

He also visited training fields and points, and discussed with several fighters their execution methods of their tasks according to their different specialties, reflecting the high level of training achieved by the forces.

Askar conveyed the greetings and appreciation of General Mohammed Zaki, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, to the fighters, praising the advanced training level and high combat efficiency he witnessed.

He emphasized the General Command’s keenness to enhance the training status of its fighters by relying on the latest combat training programs to ensure their ability to carry out tasks assigned to them under various circumstances.

Lt. General Askar visited the command of the Second Field Army to ensure the combat readiness of the army’s leadership body. He listened to reports from various levels, demonstrating the readiness to execute the assigned tasks. He also cited several emergency situations and scenarios that the army’s leadership dealt with optimally, reflecting the high combat readiness and ability of the Second Field Army fighters to make sound decisions to face sudden changes during operations.

The inspection tour was attended by top commanders of the armed forces.
