Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Osama Askar witnessed the main phase of the tactical strategic command centres project implemented by the Northern Military Region on Wednesday.
The project, which lasts for several days, is part of the combat training plan for the Armed Forces’ formations and units.
The main phase started with a summary of the mobilisation idea, and the decisions taken by the commanders at various levels. This is in addition to the proceduresfor theorganization and coordination of cooperation between all formations and units, which demonstrated high combat readiness by all the participating.
At the end of the phase, the Chief of Staff conveyed the greetings of General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief the Armed Forces, to the men of the Northern Military Region on the upcoming Eid Al-Adha.
He stressed that the Armed Forces exerts all possible effort in protecting the homeland and preserving its sanctities with advanced combat and technical systems. They enjoy a high degree of awareness of all the events and changes taking place and have the ability to carry out all their duties under various circumstances.
