The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces General Osama Askar attended the implementation of the main phase of the tactical project by soldiers of one of the units of the Western Military Region using the multiple integrated laser engagement system “MILES”, as part of the combat training plan for the formations and units of the Armed Forces.
The phase included a presentation of the tactical idea and the procedures implemented during the preparation and execution phase of the project using “MILES” simulation systems to achieve excellence in training and accurate evaluation of the level of participants and the achievement of a distinguished level of efficiency in carrying out planned and emergency tasks.
The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces discussed with a number of participating commanders and officers the way of executing the planned tasks, and imposed a number of emergency tactical situations that demonstrated the ability to make sound decisions to confront all changes during project management.
At the end of the project, General Askar conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defence and Military Production, to the participants in the project, stressing the need to benefit from the advanced training systems provided by the General Command of the Armed Forces.
The project was attended by a number of commanders of the Armed Forces.
