Chief-of-Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Osama Askar, attended on Sunday the implementation of a number of training activities by a formation from the Second Field Army, according to the official page of the Armed Forces spokesman on social media.
This was part of the combat training plan for the formations and units of the Armed Forces, the spokesman added.
The Commander of the Second Field Army, Major General Staff Mohamad Rabie, addressed the event, highlighting the keenness of the Armed Forces General Command to support all formations and units of the Second Field Army to enable them to perform their tasks efficiently and competently under the various circumstances.
The training activities included the presentation of summary of drill’s idea, a topographical and tactical orientation of the lining up ground, as well as a review of a number of planned training stages for participating branches.
