Lieutenant-General Osama Askar inspected on Sunday one of the stages of a tactical training carried out by a unit of the Central Military Zone.
The project is part of the annual combat training plan of Armed Forces units and formations.
Askar reiterated the constant combat readiness and efficiency of the Egyptian army, which enable them to carry out the tasks entrusted to them in defending the security and safety of the nation.
He also conveyed greetings and appreciation from Commander-General of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defence and Military Production General Mohamed Zaki, to the elements participating in the training.
Askar discussed with a number of participating commanders and officers the modalities of implementing their tasks, as well as the decision making in cases of facing sudden changes during operations.
He lauded the performance and the distinguished and high combat efficiency displayed by the Central Military Zone units.
