Egypt’s organization of the United Nations climate conference (COP27) reflects Cairo’s important position and great roles in regional and international issues, said Mohamed Ibrahim el Deweri, the deputy general director of the Egyptian Center for Strategic Studies (ECSS).
On the sidelines of his participation at COP27, he told MENA on Saturday that the conference proved Egypt’s effective contributions to dealing with the world’s current issues, namely the climate change and its negative impacts on human lives.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s speech at COP27 is regarded as a very clear roadmap to address the climate issue, he said.
Deweri added that the political leadership has provided all means to guarantee the successful organization of the conference.
