The World Youth Forum (WYF) has organised a wide scale two-day workshop on the concepts of entrepreneurship, and supporting the national industry in Egypt, in a way likely to back the national economy.
Organised at the National Training Academy (NTA), the workshop was attended by a specialists, and representatives of the initiatives of Decent Life, National Initiative for Industry (Ebda), the Federation of Egyptian Industries, as well as the UN’s International Labour Organisation (ILO), the Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The first day of the workshop included three sessions, the first was a presentation on initiatives like a Decent Life Ebda, and what they have achieved so far on the ground.
The second session addressed the preparation and training of entrepreneurs, and the proposals to promote entrepreneurial thinking for all ages. Discussions stressed that the concept behind Egypt’s New Republic is “investing in humans first”.
The third session focused on drawing up a roadmap for implementing the initiative adopted by the WYF to bolster the role of entrepreneurs and the various projects that have been implemented.
The second day of the workshop included four sessions, the first of which started with setting an action plan for participants from the strategic partners, while the second focused on the phases and mechanisms of the initiative’s work, as well as the activities to be carried out, and estimates of their cost and duration.
The third session was one of estimating risks and measuring performance, as the fourth discussed clarifying tasks of the participants in the initiative.
This entrepreneurship was the third by the WYF firth edition, and it followed two others on supporting mental health, and the mechanisms for backing refugees and merging them in the society.
