Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tareq el Molla discussed Wednesday with Dean of Engineering Faculty, Cairo University, Hossam Abdel Fattah and Director of the Faculty’s Mining Studies and Research Center El Sayyed el Tayyeb ways of developing and updating the faculty’s scientific curricula and connecting them with the practical side.
The move is meant to serve the State’s goals to meet the needs and support development projects as part of the constant work and cooperation between the ministry and the faculty.
The two sides agreed on establishing a higher committee for developing cooperation between the two sides to attain joint goals and raise efficiency and quality of syllabuses along with honing the skills of graduates.
In statements, Molla underscored the importance of maintaining cooperation with the faculty and the center and boosting their potentials to prepare well-trained and efficient engineers.
