The coalition of Egyptian parties has praised the stance adopted by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi against attempts to terminate the Palestinian cause and displace the Palestinian people to Sinai.
The 48 parties in the coalition issued a statement Wednesday in which they also backed a decision by Sisi not to allow foreigners in Gaza to cross the Rafah Terminal unless humanitarian aid was allowed into the Gaza Strip.
Sisi would not meet US President Joe Biden in Jordan today.
The coalition unanimously agreed to mandate Sisi to make decisions to protect Egypt’s national security and maintain its sovereignty.
Today’s statement came after an Israeli massacre that targeted Al Maamadani Hospital in Gaza, killing 500 Palestinians, mostly children, women and elderly.
The coalition condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli attack against civilians in the hospital.
