Egypt’s various civil associations are participating in 75 activities in the COP27 Green Zone.
Discussions on finance, women and youth, water, agriculture, energy, adaptation to climate change and biodiversity are among the activities undertaken by civil society representatives.
Civil societies are also displaying projects and initiatives that have been already carried out, laying the foundation for sustainable development, in addition to research on carbon reduction.
The participation of civil society at the global event extends to discussing successful experiments in cultivating crops resistant to salinity and empowering small farmers to adapt to climate change.
