Egypt’s Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Abbas Helmi asserted his ministry’s keenness on offering all support and facilities to develop air traffic and tourism in Egypt.
This came during the signing ceremony of a co-operation protocol between Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation (EHAAN) and the Arab Women Investors Union within the framework of activating “Ashanak ya baladi (For your sake my country)” initiative.
The initiative, launched by the union, aims at promoting medical and religious tourism in Egypt through joint Arab-African cooperation.
The protocol was signed by head of the Board of Directors of EHAAN Yehia Zakaria and President of the Arab Women Investors Union Hoda Yassa.
Following the signing ceremony, Zakaria said the protocol falls within the framework of EHAAN’s keenness on participating in all initiatives that help promote tourism in Egypt and expand the company’s activities.
For her part, Yassa said that promoting medical tourism in Egypt will take place within the framework of joint cooperation and support of the Civil Aviation Ministry and EHAAN.
The protocol aims at enhancing the role of the Arab Women Investors Union’s offices and coordinating members in many African and international countries that will promote religious and medical tourism in Egypt, she further noted.
