Citibank offered the Ministry of Finance together with a number of ministries its experience on climate finance through sharing its best practices.
The step came during the Climate Finance Day, part of debates held on the sidelines of the COP27 conference, to be held in Sharm el-Sheikh this November.
Citi will be sharing global financial and structuring solutions specific to climate and sustainable finance challenges and opportunities that will render the Finance Day a success.
Citi’s offer is a continuation of cooperation between Citi and the Ministry of Finance, which was extended to other ministries of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Jay Collins, Vice Chairman of Banking at Citi, will lead the Citi advisory team of multi-product global ESG and climate finance specialists.
