Chief of Staff Ahmed Khalifa inspected Wednesday a basic training unit of recruits to get firsthand information about the military rehabilitation system.
Khalifa got informed about daily activities and exercises the recruits perform to maintain their high fitness levels.
The chief of staff met with the new recruits and conveyed Defense Minister Abdel Meguid Saqr’s best regards.
He stressed that the General Command of the Armed Forces is keen on taking good care of combatants and securing all potentials to prepare them to bear the responsibility of defending the homeland.
Soldiers, Khalifa said, should understand their missions from day one of military life – self military discipline that is. This involves serious training in line with an advanced rehabilitation system, he added.
The chief of staff advised the recruits to maintain their excellent levels and keep their spirits high.
Khalifa had breakfast with the recruits then inspected the educational and administrative processes.
