Egyptian Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid Tuesday inspected military and police troops deployed in North Sinai to get firsthand information about the security situation there.
Farid also wanted to check living and administrative conditions in North Sinai and make sure that all plans and assigned missions are accomplished.
He had a tour of national projects that are being implemented under the supervision of the Armed Forces.
Farid also visited a number of government institutions and facilities, and met with some residents, who thanked the Armed Forces for their big effort to restore security and safety in North Sinai.
