Egypt has been selected by Chase Travel, part of JPMorgan Chase, as one of the world’s top 26 destinations for 2026.

The recognition highlights Egypt’s growing status as a global tourism hub.

Despite recent regional tensions, major countries have kept their travel advice for Egypt unchanged. The US, the UK, and Spain continue to list Egypt as safe for visitors.

The Times of London stressed that Egypt’s resorts are far from conflict zones. It noted there are no active travel warnings for popular sites such as Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan along the Nile.

The same applies to Red Sea resorts including Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada.

Tourism remains a vital sector for Egypt’s economy. International recognition from a leading US travel platform is expected to boost confidence among travelers. The listing places Egypt alongside other world-class destinations, reinforcing its appeal to both cultural explorers and leisure seekers.

With its ancient heritage, vibrant cities, and coastal resorts, Egypt continues to attract global attention. The country’s inclusion in Chase Travel’s 2026 list signals strong prospects for tourism growth in the year ahead.
