CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel Ati said a central unit for digital transformation has been formed at the ministry.
The minister made his remarks on Friday during a meeting with a number of key officials from the ministry to follow up efforts exerted in the field of digital transformation.
The unit’s tasks include participation in training programs of digitization and automation of activities and documents under Egypt Vision 2030.
The electronic systems of digitization will contribute to managing State-owned property and optimizing the use of different resources, the minister added.
