Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University organises the first simulation model for the International Organisation for Migration (IOM).
The IOM’s model is the first of its kind to be held at the level of Egyptian universities or at the international level.
The move came as part of the University’s keenness on coping up with the various political, economic and social spheres.
In statements on Tuesday, Cairo University President Mohamed Othman Elkhosht said that the IOM’s model aims to give the opportunity to the students to get acquainted with immigration-related efforts and to train the new generation and the youth to become future leaders and decision-makers.
Cairo University is keen on organising several simulation models for the local and international organisations, a matter which will contribute to graduating students capable of participating in every aspect of life, he added.
