The Armed Forces convened an international press conference on Friday, attended by a broad spectrum of local and foreign media, to outline preparations for the fourth edition of the Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX 2025).

The exhibition will be held from December 1 to 4 at the Egypt International Exhibition and Convention Centre, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

EDEX 2025 is set to welcome major defence and security exhibitors, along with leading international companies from across the region and beyond. Minister of State for Military Production Major General Eng. Mohamed Salah Eddin Moustafa took part in the press conference, together with Major General Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation, among other senior officials.

Speakers reviewed all elements demonstrating the political leadership’s strong support for the exhibition, underscoring its status as a flagship global event among major international defence expos. They highlighted the close coordination among the organising bodies to ensure the exhibition reflects Egypt’s growing regional and international role.

EDEX 2025 will feature national pavilions from 25 countries, alongside global exhibitors showcasing the latest advancements in defence and armaments. The event is expected to attract official delegations from more than 100 countries and draw approximately 45,000 visitors.

The conference concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which officials addressed media inquiries and provided additional details on the upcoming expo. The event was attended by ambassadors, accredited military attachés, strategic experts, and representatives of Egyptian and international media.
