Cairo, Seoul seek waste management co-operation 1 - Egyptian Gazette

Co-operation with South Korean companies in waste management, and establishing waste recycling plants, were the focus of major talks held in Cairo on Tuesday.

 

Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi held the talks with the visiting head of Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute (KEITI)Sung Ki-hoon and anaccompanying delegation,which includededrepresentatives of South Korea’s J.S.T. CO and Yooshin Engineering Corporation.

 

During the meeting, Minister Morsi pointed to the well-established relations between Egypt and South Korea, which he described as long-standing and fruitful.

 

He said that his ministry is highly interested in clinching strategic partnershipsbetween the military production companies and the South Korean firms in various fields.

Morsi also stressed keenness on transferring modern technologies to benefit the ministry’s subsidiaries in various fields of manufacturing.

 

Egypt’s  military production companies are ready to co-operate with national and international firmsspecialised in waste management with the chief aim of localisingthe industry of waste recycling equipment, Morsi told the South Korean delegation.
