Cairo-Manchester airline launched – Abbas

Egypt’s Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Abbas said operating Cairo-Manchester airline underlines the depth of the Egyptian-UK relations.

This came during the departure of the first flight from Cairo to Manchester.

Abbas said this brings the number of EgyptAir flights to the UK to 20 weekly flights; 14 flights to London, five Manchester, and one flight from Luxor to Heathrow.

He noted that EgyptAir launched this year several new lines, like Dhaka in Bangladesh, New York in the US and now Manchester in the UK.

He said a new New Delhi airline will be operated soon alongside several other airlines.
