In a meeting under Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Wednesday, the Cabinet approved a request by the Ministry of Investment to establish a private-free-zone-system project in Sidi Kerir complex of petrochemical factories.
A plant will be built over an area of 157,000 square meters with the aim to manufacture and produce specialized chemicals. Another factory will be established to produce Sodium cyanide and its derivatives.
This venture will make Egypt the first country in the Middle East and North Africa to settle such advanced technologies in the mining industry, using 100 percent of local components and exporting 100 percent of the production.
