The Egyptian government has approved a decision by the prime minister to issue the executive regulations of the law on hotel and tourism facilities.
In a meeting under Moustafa Madbouli, earlier Wednesday, the Cabinet also agreed to ease measures to attract tourism investments.
Also endorsed was a decree by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, okaying a grant agreement between the Egyptian government and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to finance the renovation of the second metro line in Cairo.
The deal was sealed on July 25, 2022 and is estimated to cost some 1.8 million euros.
