CAIRO – Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli chaired a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital to review a number of political, economic, and social issues on the government’s agenda.

The meeting also aimed to follow up on the implementation of presidential directives in a timely and effective manner.

The Cabinet discussed key priorities, including ensuring citizens’ needs are met, intensifying efforts to curb inflation, and continuing to increase spending on health, education, and social protection sectors.

It also reviewed measures to regulate market activity, ensure the availability of basic commodities, and monitor progress on national projects in governorates.

The discussions also covered plans to expand social protection programs, support the most vulnerable groups, and advance efforts in education, healthcare, investment, exports, industrial localization, and comprehensive development in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.

The Cabinet reviewed updates on investment, industry, exports, agricultural expansion, industrial land allocation, social safety programs, and tax reform.

The meeting also discussed ongoing development efforts in various state sectors, as well as measures to support low-income citizens and ensure the availability of essential goods and services.
