CAIRO – Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli chaired the Cabinet’s weekly meeting on Tuesday to discuss a number of important political, economic, and social issues on the government’s agenda and review ways to optimally implement presidential directives assigned to the government within appropriate timeframes.
During the meeting, the Cabinet will discuss several topics, including the signing of a partnership between Egypt and Qatar for the development of Alam Al-Roum area in Mersa Matrouh, the follow-up of the first phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, as well as follow-ups on the President’s directives to meet citizens’ needs, intensify efforts to curb inflation, and continue increasing spending on the health, education, and social protection sectors.
The agenda also includes monitoring market regulation, ensuring the availability of food supplies, and advancing various national projects across the governorates.
Discussions are to cover enhancing social protection measures and care for the most vulnerable citizens, as well as issues related to the development of education, healthcare, comprehensive development, investment, increasing exports, and localizing industries as part of Egypt’s Vision 2030.
The Cabinet will also review progress on previous measures concerning investment, industry, exports, expanding agricultural land, making industrial lands available for investors, social safety nets, the tax system, development across state sectors, support for low-income groups, and ensuring the general provision of citizens’ needs.
