CAIRO- The Cabinet prepared two books summarizing the development process in Egypt during the past nine years in various sectors.
The books were delivered to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during the “Homeland Story..Between Vision and Achievement” conference, which is held in the New Administrative Capital.
They represent an important historical document for all the development efforts in Egypt from 2014, as the most prominent development stage in the country’s history, allowing citizens to learn about the size and details of the national projects that were implemented over the past nine years, Cabinet Spokesman Sameh el Kheshen said in a statement.
The first book covers in detail all the national projects implemented in all sectors from June 2014 to June 2023, dealing with five main axes: human, economic, societal and spatial development, facilities and networks sectors, the spokesman said.
The second book includes the overall indicators and sub-indicators for each axis separately, compared to the conditions prevailing before 2014, he added.
National projects were implemented with a total investment of about EGP 9.4 trillion over 9 years to improve the quality of life at all levels, the spokesman said.
