The Cabinet’s media centre has published a report highlighting an expanded use of technological education programs by the high education sector in Egypt to serve national projects and to keep pace with needs of the labor market locally, regionally and internationally.
The universities are adopting modern education programs, based on international accreditation criteria and rules of quality assurance, the center said in the report on Monday.
The state has outlined a full and integrated vision on upgrading the higher education system, which aims at introducing novel and untraditional methods in education strategies, it added.
Egypt is expanding the establishment of technological and private not-for-profit universities in line with global criteria, it also said, adding students in the high-level educational institutions study all specializations needed by the labour market.
The country’s universities and higher education institutions work in partnership with the most prominent technological universities worldwide, according to the report.
This will mainly contribute to moving up Egyptian universities in global rankings, it said.
