A Cabinet meeting, under Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, started earlier Wednesday at the New Capital to discuss a number of political, economic and social files.
The meeting will also tackle the latest international developments, with a focus on the repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
Topping the agenda of the meeting is a number of important ministerial bills and decisions meant to achieve economic and social stability, as well as encourage investment.
The Cabinet will also probe work progress at the different national projects that are being implemented across Egypt, including those to develop villages and rural areas as part of the “Decent Life” initiative.
The ministers will also talk about measures taken to implement President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives for the government to act to secure foodstuffs for citizens and tighten control over the market.
The files concerned with upgrading the health, sports, education and transport sectors will also figure high in the meeting.
