Meeting under Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, the Cabinet approved a number of important decrees Wednesday.
One such decree was okayed in principle with the aim to create a deputy CEO position at the General Authority for Educational Buildings (GAEB), whose board should be chaired by the ministry of education.
The government also agreed to a draft resolution submitted by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to reallocate some state-owned lands in the Mediterranean city of Matrouh for the implementation of a number of service and development projects.
A study submitted by the Finance Ministry at the request of the governorate of Beni Sweif to allow an investment company to use perks along the tourist walkway on the Nile Corniche in the Upper Egyptian city under a usufruct system was also ratified.
The Cabinet also okayed some resolutions and recommendations by the ministerial engineering committee that convened on April 9 regarding attributions to companies with the aim to benefit from investments in 59 projects.
