The Cabinet agreed during its weekly meeting on Wednesday under prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli to grant “Samsung Electronics Egypt” a golden license for establishing and operating a cellphone factory on 2,6000 square meters in Kom Abu Rady industrial area in Ben Sweif, Upper Egypt.
According to an agreement between the two sides, the first phase of the project production will start in the first half of 2024.
The project is expected to create 768 job opportunities by the end of 2025.
