Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted the importance of “Tahya Misr” fund, which he viewed as a key axis in implementing Egypt’s comprehensive development since its launching eight years ago.

Mabdouli’s remarks came in a report on reviewing the efforts exerted by “Tahya Misr Fund” during the first quarter of 2023 in the fields of social protection, healthcare as well as urban development across the country.

Presidential Spokesman Nader Saad said the report reviewed the various social protection initiatives launched by the fund this year, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 1.633 million citizens.

The Fund distributed about 200,000 clothing items that benefited about 170,000 families through exhibitions organized by the Fund in the governorates of Minya, South Valley, Alexandria, Ain Shams, Damietta, and Sohag, in addition to distributing new clothes to the neediest students in Cairo, Giza, Eastern, Luxor, and Bahariya Oasis, Gharbia, Qalyubiya, and Assiut.

The second part of the initiative was directed to supply to provide marriage facilities to the most needy girls and brides with the participation of a large number of art, media and fashion stars to share the joy of girls receiving the supplies.

In the health sector, the Fund provided therapeutic doses to thousands citizens for free, and succeeded in eliminating waiting lists for patients, with a medical survey of millions of citizens.
