Motorcycling is one way to promote tourist destinations on Sinai’s southeast coast.
Motorcyclists from Armenia, Egypt, Germany and Greece are riding through South Sinai Governorate in a five-day event that began last Thursday.
Organised by the Hawks Egypt Club and the Egyptian Motorcycle Federation, the itinerary takes in Dahab, Taba and Sharm el-Sheikh, ending in Cairo 8 May.
The event, Helwa ya Baladi (My Lovely Country) is being sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian Tourism Authority.
In 2019, motorcyclists roared on promotional tours through Luxor, Aswan, the Red Sea and South Sinai.
