The presidential human development initiative, “Bedaya – A New Beginning for Human Development,” has unveiled remarkable achievements within its first 100 days. Focused on investing in human capital, the initiative integrates efforts across government entities to enhance human development and strengthen Egyptian identity.
In healthcare, Bedaya provided 224 million services, including 148,000 surgeries, and allocated EGP 1 billion to improve hospital infrastructure. Nationwide first-aid seminars benefited thousands.
Women’s empowerment programs supported 2.3 million women, with 600,000 mothers receiving maternal health services and 512,000 educated on marriage risks and violence prevention.
Social protection efforts included school fairs, clothing exhibitions, over 1 million social support cards, and financial aid for 350 young women.
Education saw 5 million skill-building activities, 1 million services, and 15,000 literacy programs launched.
Sports and youth initiatives engaged 12 million citizens, while employment programs financed 93,000 projects, creating 51,000 jobs and offering 400 positions for individuals with disabilities.
Digital transformation trained 12,000 citizens in modern technology and held 10,000 digital literacy seminars. Environmental actions included planting 39,000 trees, removing 10 million tons of waste, and providing 3 million veterinary services.
Cultural and tourism initiatives organized 13,000 events with 1 million participants.
Aligned with Egypt’s Vision 2030, Bedaya’s multi-sectoral approach, from education to employment, exemplifies successful government collaboration to improve quality of life and foster sustainable development for all citizens.
